So, how was your weekend?
Guess what I did....NOTHING! Absolutely NOTHING!!! Ok, well we did have a community cook out at our neighborhood pool on Saturday, so we went to that. But other than that, we did NOTHING! It was so nice to be able to just wander around the house and/or take a nap (or 2).
Anyway, that was about it for us. So I guess it's back to "normal life" today. You know, loads of laundry, errand running, stuff like that. But before I get started with all of that, I'm feeling Inspired to Inspire you......
Reach high!
The best is always kept
upon life's topmost shelves,
but not beyond our reach,
if we will reach beyond ourselves.
Have a beautiful day and remember to Be inspired...I am!!

Yep, doing laundry right now... errand running later... LOL
I LOVE that kind of weekend!! Ooh how wonderful...
We did not do too much but I loved it. Had dinner with Mom on Saturday evening, cleaned and did laundry during the day but stopped to read and watch a movie too!
Church on Sunday, lunch out and then we all went to see Wild Hogs at the dollar theater! Just a fun, quiet day!
Have a sweet week dear Dawn!
Hugs,
Sue
Hi,
We were recovering from a lovely, but busy week of company, so we laid low, too. Actually, a spontaneous dinner out with friends was enjoyed by all on Saturday. The service was terribly slow--guess God wanted us to have the extra time together. It was a blast.
We have a tradition of Quiet Time each weekend. We are nappers. Our kids don't love this tradition, but it's made them masters of finding something quiet and independent to do for an hour while mom and dad nap. Some would call us lazy, and that's okay. It's not like we cancel items just to nap, but a little quiet time never hurt anyone in my opinion. :)
Have a great week.
You just described my life. As far as reaching to high shelves, I'm cranky today. I don't wanna!!!!!! NOOOOO! Okay, going to stretch now.
Jude-Isn't laundry fun? Yeah right. I can't understand why my hubby won't just let me go buy us new clothes when the ones we have get dirty, that would save on water...lol.
Susie-Did you enjoy Wild Hogs? I thought it was HILARIOUS!!! You have a great week too, my friend.
Gretchen- Oh how I LOVE naps! I'm really good at them too. Wonder if there are some people out there who don't have time to take naps but would pay someone to take one for them? SIGN ME UP!!! Have a great week.
Mama P-Don't be cranky today...Life is grand :-). Thanks for visiting and commenting. Have a great day.
I am also cleaning and washing today!!Fun Fun Fun!!
I like that quote. I occasionally enjoy times when things come easy, so I don't feel "stretched," but in the long run, the things in life that force us to make that stretch are so precious, so worth the effort.
Great inspiration, Dawn.
