I'm famous (in my own little world)

Ok, so think back with me a couple of years. Remember Jayla asked for a "kitchen" for Christmas, and I made her one out of cardboard boxes? Well, guess what? A friend of mind asked me to make one for her daughters birthday next month.

I'm really excited about this. To this day, Jayla still plays with hers.  I love when I walk into the playroom and Jayla is either "washing dishes", or getting something from the "fridge" or taking out a "load of laundry". Now my friend will get to experience that with her daughter.

I haven't started on it yet, as I have to finish buying the supplies. But as soon as I get done with it, I'll take pictures and share them here.  In the meantime, if any of ya'll need a new kitchen built...HOLLA AT ME!! :-)

I have an answer for that...

Hey everyone!

I started laughing when I typed the title to this post. Reason being, most of the time, I THINK I do have an answer...for most things :-).  Which is probably why my 9 year old thinks I'm simply BRILLIANT! LOL But that's a different post for a different day.:-)

But the thing that made me choose this title was a comment that my dear friend, Brown English Muffin made on one of my earlier posts.  What she said was, (and I quote), "dogs get yeast infections??? get out of here!!!"  I found that funny because I thought the same thing when the vet told me that Trae had a yeast infection a couple years ago.

So, let's get back to the question...because, after all...I have answer for that :-).  The answer is...wait for it...YES! Yes, dogs do get yeast infections. BUT they get them in their ears. Can you imagine? Anyway, a couple years ago when we first heard that Trae had this infection, I was immediately imagining that we'd have to shoot ole boys ears up with some Monistat 7. And honestly, I wasn't feeling it!

Anyway, I have now been informed (and so have you) and now know what to look for or smell.

Hmmm, this might be a new "thing" to start on my blog. I love doing research on the internet. So who knows maybe while I learn weird & strange things via my surfing, I'll share them here with my readers. But for now, I'm off to answer a question for my sweet little JaylaBear, "Mom, can I have some strawberry shortcake for dessert...WITHOUT the strawberries??" :-)

Until next time...I'm OUT!!

I had a code...

...well, I thought I'd successfully made it through the Winter without catching a "code"!  No such luck. And it wasn't just me either. Me and Mister M. were both under the weather.

Man, breathing sure is a luxury, isn't it? I mean, not only do you sound DUMB when you try to pronounce normal, everyday words such as cold/code or breath/breev. But you feel TERRIBLE!!! And at night?? FORGET about it!! Head colds are the worst!

Fortunately, I'm finally out of the "needing medication to sleep" phase of my cold. However, I'm now in the, "not too much better, hacking/coughing" phase. And I'm not talking about your innocent clearing your throat cough either. I'm talking about the, eye watering/can't catch your breath/here comes a lung kind of coughing. CHEEZ- WHIZ!!!

ANYWAY, hopefully this phase won't last too much longer and I'll be back to my normal self.

This week is Spring Break for us. Mister M. is even taking this week off from work. We're not gonna do much. Just keeping it close to home. J'Bear is going to a sleepover tonight then to Six Flags all day tomorrow with her cousins. And while she's gone, Mister M., his mom and me are going to the Farmers Market. Hmm, can't understand why J'Bear would rather go to an amusement park! LOL Other than that, I don't think we're doing too much.

Well, I think that's it for now. Ya'll enjoy the rest of your week. I'm out.....
